My Wish for My Own Place Came True

After growing tired of living in rental homes, I decided to set my mind to buying my own place. I was simply tired of being at the mercy of landlords who are looking out for their own interests at all times. A place that I own would mean that I am responsible for all of my decisions concerning my house, and I would not have to beg someone else to do the work around the place. So, I began looking in earnest, and found a place. I decided to go with Morgan Hill mortgage lender to secure my loan. I liked their rates that they gave me. After that, all I had to do was wait for the big closing day to sign the paperwork, and the house was mine.

When my contract ended on the rental home I was in, I was pretty elated to tell the landlord that I was leaving. I had lived in that place for five years, and I had always made sure to pay my rent on time. I kept both the inside and the outside of the entire place clean and well picked up. In fact, I would say that I did better in taking care of everything than many renters do. I used to work for a company that leased homes, and I can’t even count how many times the people who lived in them trashed up things rather quickly. It was because of seeing this up close that I made sure to show that I was a model renter so that I did not cause any problems for the person who owned the places that I stayed in.

On the other hand, the person who owned the home was very slow to react when something needed to paying attention to by him. I went months without the AC being fixed. He took a week and a half to come fix the fridge. When the stove broke, he took two weeks to show up. I am happy to say that I no longer have to put up with that with a place that is all mine.
