Did great w/ my wifes A6 May 1, 2010 M. Logue 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just got a P-C 7424xp and was dying to try it. So I went to autozone (will be buying Blackfire soon...internet) the idea was to please my wife w/purchase (or not screw up my R32) so her car went 1st. I ended up selecting NXT 2.0 as the over the counter test product since I liked results of other Meg products.
So her A6 that I have done all care on is a 2002-paint in good shape but many spots that i have wash/wax over with no luck by hand also scraches...No clay nor polish yet, just 2.0 and the PC...It was amazing many imperfections vanished and I swear this 8 yr old car looks showroom-shocked me actually. I cannot wait to do my already popping R.

First Time Using - $$ April 16, 2010 Moose (Chicago Suburbs, IL) This is my first time using Meguires Tech Wax 2.o paste. It seemed like it went on a bit watery for a paste wax. I use a buffer to remove the wax. One thing I noticed was there wasn't much of an odor given off during the waxing process. The wax went on easy. Now we'll just have to wait for it to rain to see how it beads up.
Nothing special February 7, 2010 Dru Mcgowan (Molino, FL) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
As I ran out of my usual waxes/polishes recently, I decided to use what I had left over from a friend. It was the "NXT generation syn wax." I will admit I am not a fan of the "big 2." Meguiar's nor Mothers as I personally have found they are the Mobil 1 of waxes. Very expensive and enticing advertising and standard ingredients. But I left myself with an open mind and gave it a shot. Mind you some of the car I used it on was already waxed with my prefered but now empty wax. Application and removal is standard and simple. Although the odor can be obnoxious to those who are sensitive to the cheap perfume/air freshener smell (FYI: It has that artificial blackberry/cranberry smell). The results are very standard wax. Shine is not easily categorized. Its neither glossy nor restore looking. It simply looks like a jush washed car look. But obviosly with a wax one wants a supreme shine or a restoritive look. It lasts a month or so and beads pretty well. Another pro is it attracts little dust. But for the price and hype it is not worth it. I don't use turtle wax's basic wax, but I have before and it towers over this in comparison in shine and length of time it lasts. It is simply a basic wax with basic results. I will not mention what waxes I use to again show that I have an open mind and never try to stray peope to things I think are great. But as I feared, it is just hype. P.S. Check the MSDS to see the ingredients. There is nothing special there as indicated by the "ooh-ahh" labeling.
Long lasting and easy to apply February 5, 2010 T. Dempsey (NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Really happy with this. Goes on easy, comes off easy, and the shine lasts and lasts. Its been over 7 months since the last application and water still beads up! Car is outside 24/7.
Easy on, Easy off, great results December 29, 2009 Michael B. (Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a car detail specialist I've found that NXT wax 2.0 is a very reliable product. It is one of the two professional paint protectants that I use in my business. The other is Meguiar's synthetic sealant. Although found in many common auto shops, NXT wax provides professional results that pathetic turtle wax cant match. NXT wax is very easy to apply and remove by hand if you give it about 20 minutes to dry. It has very nice gloss and looks best on red cars (doesn't work too well with black cars b/c it smudges). It repels water very well and lasts quite a long time. A new coat is needed about every 3-4 months.
examples of cars coated with NXT wax 2.0 can be found at [...]
If you are a person who strives constantly to bring out your car's beauty, retain its value, and turn heads, you should give up half a day and try this... Wash, Clay Bar, most abrasive polish, medium abrasive polish, very fine polish, synthetic sealant, and lastly NXT wax. Polishing is basically liquid sandpaper and should be applied with a variable speed polisher. But don't even try using one if you don't have someone to teach you. You can take off your paint too easily and it would be risky.
