K-9 divider July 20, 2010 Lumpkin Sterile (Central florida) this is the best pet separator I've ever purchased. It keeps my K-9 partner (which I might add is a Smart German Shepard) separated from my kids, and keeps him from taking my kids food (LOL)...
Great Quality, Great Value June 18, 2010 Jayson Licciardo (Boston, MA) I purchased this a little while back (December 2007) from Amazon for the back of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am happy to say that it is still in service today. You can go to PETCO, Petsmart, or many other pet supply stores and purchase a similar item for much, much more... However, if you are looking for a well built, durable, and effective way to keep your animal in the back of your vehicle, Look no further!
Ok June 1, 2010 Alonso Alfaro Urena Works perfect with my dog, but this is because he doesn't push it. I guess that if your dog tries hard enough, he'll take it down.
Dog Barrier May 26, 2010 Annette Oquinn (Roanoke, VA) I have 3 dogs, 2 little guys and 1 medium size dog and all 3 fit nicely in the back of my Mazda Tribute. It's not a lot of space, but we don't go too far. The 1 thing I really like is that you can see out of the back window. I thought about a different type of dog barrier that had the squares b/c I thought my little guys might try to jump between the bars but they don't. It's something to consider before purchasing a dog barrier (how well you can see out the back window).
Sturdy, but doesn't stay in place May 13, 2010 Erin S. Contour (Del Mar, CA United States) This barrier does go in easily... but like other reviewers, I found that the wing bolts that tighten the vertical 'feet' in place loosen themselves with car vibration and the barrier falls on your dog's head when you turn a corner... OR my 80 lb. German Sheppard leans back against one of the feet and it slides and BOOM on the dog's head. Then despite my best efforts to tighten the screws on the cross bars, I have had these slide as well. Would have taken only a little extra thought on the manufacturer's part to fix these problems as it is an otherwise nice design. I use it, but have to check EVERY time I get in the car that it is still tightly in place. This is annoying.
